1. kiting
What to expect with the kiting
If you don't have much kite experience yet, you will receive 3 kitesurfing lessons this week. Learn to fly a kite, water launch and sail.
There is so much to learn! In a beautiful place. Ameland.
Do you already have the necessary kite experience? Then we will help you this week with tips and tricks. Kitesurfing in the waves, jumping higher. From backroll to kiteloop. There is enough material to try something different. Hydrofoil your first meters or surf the waves with a directional. Challenge enough!
If you can already kitesurf, you have the option to use our kites. Whether you can handle that also depends on the circumstances. The instructor ultimately makes the choice if you are able to go.
2. ameland
Accommodation and location
Welcome at Tussen Wad en Strand Eco Camping in Ballum on Ameland. This campsite is completely self-sufficient, uses solar panels and a wood gasifier and has proudly carried the title 'Eco Camping' since 2013. Located at the narrowest part of the island, the site offers easy access to the mudflats, beach and forest, making it a wonderful retreat after a day on the water. The shared tent serves as an excellent base camp for up to four people. It provides a comfortable place to escape the elements after an exciting day of kitesurfing or to prepare for the next day's conditions. The large safari tent features cozy sleeping accommodations and a private toilet and shower, giving you the convenience and privacy you need to recharge.
